I always wear skirts when I venture outdoors. And it’s not only about my love for skirts but I have more practical reasons to shun pants. They suck my short legs. Anyone with short legs should go for skirts. I have short legs and I know how much length skirts add to my legs.

Skirts Enhance My Short Legs

I still remember the cropped jeans that I used to wear before knowing how much pants can such as the length of my already short legs. But now I know that cropped leg-style jeans don’t disguise my short legs. I need something different that could make my legs appear longer. It is when I discovered the benefits of wearing an A-line skirt.

A skirt creates a balance and it helps me create an illusion of longer and more beautiful legs. Designers often say that women with shorter legs shouldn’t wear skirts below the knee but for me that rule is rubbish. I wear A-line skirts and bump on a pair of heels to add a few inches more to my short legs.

Skirts Have Limitless Choice To Offer

Yes, pants and jeans come in different styles including striped pants, cropped jeans, floral pants, colored pants, and pants with colors. Also, I agree that they can improve your silhouette. You can even pair them with a variety of shirts, t-shirts, and tops. But still, I vouch for skirts because they are much better than pants.

While others could disagree with my belief but I stand firm on my belief that you only need a good cut for your skirt and you are ready to go. And I don’t think that the same could be said about pants or jeans.

I Love Their Pockets

I know what is on your mind. You want to say ‘Are You Crazy’ to me. You can argue that pants also have pockets but they aren’t as functional as skirts’ pockets are. I don’t know how others use their pockets, I can keep all my belongings including my mobile, Bluetooth, purse, and everything I carry in my skirts.

I bet no one could put her hands in her pants’ pockets. But skirts have larger and fuller pockets that have space for everything. Also, you don’t fear your phone bumping out of your pants pocket while you use the stairs. Also, you won’t feel uncomfortable sitting with your phone in your skirt’s pocket.

Skirts Are For Summers

It isn’t that I’m averse to pants but that I love wearing skirts more than pants. And I have practical reasons to choose skirts over pants. Skirts make summer tolerable. They keep the legs free so you feel comfortable. Here I would like to do a quick comparison between skirts and shorts.

I feel shorts aren’t suitable for meaty thighs. For me, they are too short for women with bigger and bulkier thighs. Also, they squeeze the thighs so much that the thigh chubs start rubbing each other. Also, I can’t wear longer Bermuda pants over my short legs because they appear like flood pants in my silhouette.

Skirts Make Me Look More Stylish

I love A-line skirts most and I like buying rayon skirts for summer. Rayon has several benefits over others. It is breathable so it makes summer more tolerable. Also, it doesn’t get stuck to my tights when I wear rayon skirts in winter. A comfy and movable rayon skirt is my dress for a day out.

As a woman, I feel, women don’t have to worry about sitting in a dignified way in skirts. And I believe you readers know what I mean. It isn’t that I don’t wear pants but I prefer going in skirts wherever possible. What is your experience with skirts?

Denim is a favorite fabric of people of all ages but there are so many trends in denim that one can get confused. I have a pair of light-wash denim jeans that have gone out of trend. Many of my friends often talk about denim styles going out of fashion soon after arriving.

Easier To Put On

Here I’m going very personal. As said earlier, I have short legs that don’t look attractive in pants and jeans. Also, it is difficult for me to find a suitable waist size as pants are designed with longer legs in mind. And I must say that I find skirts easier to fit, at least on my figure, than pants. I do wear pants and jeans but skirts are my all-time favorites.
