Disturbing Facts About Sushant Singh Rajput’s Case

It has been almost two weeks since the death of Sushant Singh Rajput (SSR) but the speculations about his demise refuse to die down. SSR’s death has created a storm in Bollywood. It started a debate over nepotism in the industry.

Is it a case of suicide?

RC Singh, the maternal uncle of SSR, sees a conspiracy theory behind the death of SSR. Also, there were social media posts claiming that no saliva was found coming out from SSR’s mouth and that his tongue and eyeballs were normal. There are different reports about his death and all these reports put a question mark over the suicide theory forwarded by the police.

Did he succumb to professional reasons?

SSR’s fans are relating his death to “insider-outsider” theory, bullying by selected persons and professional pressure. But politician Sanjay Nirupam was clear in his opinion. He tweeted that SSR succumbed to pressure of losing seven films in six months. 

Was troubled relationship a reason for his death?

His relationship with Rhea Chakraborty had a troubled history and it came to be known that Rhea had a spat with SSR a couple of days before his death. One of Rhea’s associates even mentioned on social media that Rhea had problems with SSR’s mental health.

Is it related to other suicides in the industry?

Some conspiracy theories link SSR’s death to four recent suicides in the showbiz industry. They were TV actors Manmeet Grewal and Preksha Mehta and Sushant’s former manager Disha Salian, who died a few days before him. 

Is social media behind his death?

SSR’s social media account was active even after his death. It was noted that the number of accounts being followed by SSR were reduced. MP Roopa Ganguly even raised questions regarding his account being active even after his death.

Salman Khan link to SSR’s death

#SalmanKhan and #nepotism became the top trend on social media soon after Salman Khan was made a party in the FIR lodged in a court in Muzaffarpur, Bihar. It was alleged that SSR was removed from around seven films due to the interference of the biggies that include Salman Khan, Karan Johar, Sanjay Leela Bhansali, and Ekta Kapoor.
